Where are you located?- We are located right off 97 near Littlestown. The exact address will be sent out once an appointment is made.
Where will my dog stay during a boarding program?-
During their board and train program, your dog will stay at our training facility and be cared for like one of our own. Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and low-stress environment where your dog can learn and thrive.
Each dog is housed in an appropriately sized crate. Crates are an important part of the training process, helping to prevent injuries and potty accidents while providing a familiar routine that closely resembles what many dogs experience at home.
Rest and structure are essential for successful learning. Just like people, dogs need time to process new information. Crate time gives them a quiet, secure place to relax and absorb what they've learned during training sessions with minimal distractions.
While resting, dogs always have access to fresh water and are provided with safe enrichment items, such as Benebones or stuffed Kong toys, to keep them comfortable and mentally engaged.
We intentionally keep our programs small, typically training just 1–4 dogs at a time. This allows each dog to receive individualized attention while maintaining a calm, neutral learning environment that supports their success.
Throughout the day, your dog will enjoy multiple potty breaks, walks, exercise, enrichment activities, and personalized training sessions. Our goal is to create a balanced routine that meets both your dog's physical and mental needs while building the skills they'll use for years to come.
Where will training sessions take place? Training sessions take place at our training property unless meeting at a public, dog friendly location is agreed upon.
Should I be nervous about leaving my dog?
It's completely normal to feel a little nervous about leaving your dog for training. We understand that your dog is a member of your family, and we don't take that responsibility lightly.
At Sirius Solutions Dog Training, every dog is treated as an individual. We go above and beyond to ensure your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for throughout their stay while receiving the highest quality training possible.
To keep you involved in the process, you'll receive videos of your dog's training sessions each week so you can see exactly what they're learning and how we teach. We believe an informed owner is a successful owner.
One of the unique features of our board and train program is that your dog comes home every weekend. During your weekend lesson, we'll teach you everything your dog learned that week and show you how to practice those skills at home. This helps your dog understand that the same rules and expectations apply both with their trainer and with their family. It also means you don't have to spend 4–6 weeks away from your dog all at once!
Before your dog's first drop-off, we'll collect important information, including:
Veterinary contact information
Emergency contact information
Medical history and medications
Feeding instructions and routine
Any other important details about your dog's care
We know you'll miss your dog, and we'll do our best to give you peace of mind while they're with us. If you'd like an extra update, photo, or video during their stay, just let us know—we're always happy to keep you updated on your dog's progress.
Our goal is not only to train your dog, but to make sure both you and your dog have a positive, enjoyable experience from start to finish.
What is included in a training program?
We believe that using high-quality training equipment is an important part of setting both you and your dog up for success. That's why we provide all of the equipment needed throughout your training program.
Depending on your dog's individual needs, this may include items such as:
Leashes
Training collars
Place beds
Treat pouches
And any other recommended training tools
Every piece of equipment is selected with your dog's safety, comfort, and training goals in mind.
We don't just send you home with the equipment—we also take the time to teach you how to use it correctly. During your lessons, we'll demonstrate proper handling techniques, explain the purpose of each tool, and answer any questions you have so you feel confident continuing your dog's training at home.
Our goal is to make sure you leave the program with both the knowledge and the tools needed to maintain your dog's success for years to come.
How much does it cost?
Our training program prices vary based on the specific behaviors that need to be taught or modified. Every dog is unique, and the amount of training required depends on their individual needs and goals.
To ensure you and your dog receive the best possible results, we highly recommend scheduling a free training evaluation. During this meeting, we'll assess your dog's behavior, discuss your goals, and recommend the program that will set you both up for success. You'll also receive an exact price based on your dog's needs.
Training is an investment that lasts a lifetime. When you enroll in a program with Sirius Solutions Dog Training, you're not just paying for a few weeks of training—you're investing in 10+ years of a well-mannered, enjoyable companion. Our goal is to give you the knowledge and support needed to continue your dog's success long after the program is complete.
We also understand that training is a significant financial commitment. Payment plan options are available for clients who may need additional flexibility, because we believe every dog deserves the opportunity to succeed.
That's a bit of a trick question!
Dog training isn't magic—it doesn't end when the program is over. While your dog will learn all of the commands and skills included in their training program, long-term success depends on how those skills are maintained at home.
Training is a lifestyle, not just a one-time event. The way you communicate with, handle, and live with your dog plays a huge role in their continued success. If you return to old habits and stop reinforcing what your dog has learned, many of those unwanted behaviors can eventually return.
That's why owner education is such an important part of our programs.
At the end of each training week, you'll participate in an in-person lesson where we'll:
Review everything your dog has learned.
Teach you how to properly use your dog's commands and training equipment.
Practice handling your dog with guidance from your trainer.
Answer any questions you may have.
Throughout your dog's stay, you'll also receive weekly training videos so you can watch their progress, along with educational documents covering the topics discussed during your lessons.
When your dog goes home, it's completely normal to experience a few bumps in the road. Learning to work together takes practice, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
That's why all of our training programs include free follow-up lessons after your program is complete. Whether you need a refresher, have questions, or want help working through a new challenge, we're always happy to help.
Our goal isn't just to train your dog—it's to teach you how to maintain your dog's training for a lifetime.
How do I get started?
The first step toward training with Sirius Solutions Dog Training is scheduling a free pre-training evaluation.
Every dog is unique, and before recommending a program, we want to get to know both you and your dog. This allows us to better understand your goals, evaluate your dog's current behavior, and determine the training plan that will set you up for the greatest success.
During your evaluation, we will:
Learn about your dog's background, personality, and any behavioral concerns.
Discuss your training goals and answer any questions you may have.
Demonstrate what our training process looks like.
Explain our training philosophy and how we communicate with dogs.
Provide a program packet with pricing and detailed information.
